Hospice & Palliative Care

Caring with Compassion

For those facing a life-limiting illness and their loved ones, our compassionate team of experts provides guidance and support, focusing on quality of life with dignity, peace and comfort. Services may include emotional and spiritual support, setup of in-home care settings, pain and symptom management, assistance with light housekeeping and errands, professional therapies and dietary support, and companionship.

Backed by decades of dedication, each of our hospice care providers includes a medical director, nurses, social workers, certified hospice aides, chaplains, trained volunteers, and bereavement counselors. These seasoned professionals and volunteers deliver individualized care for each patient and family. Through our long history within Berkshire County and Franklin County, we have developed relationships with community providers to ensure patients and their families receive the care they need when it’s needed most.

Hospice is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and is provided wherever the individual needing hospice is living.

Promoting Comfort and Care

Palliative care focuses on pain and symptom management and guidance in decision-making for those living with serious illness. Pediatric palliative care also incorporates services similar to traditional hospice for children 18 and younger and their family members.

Easing the Journey through Loss

Our comprehensive hospice care includes free bereavement services for those mourning the loss of a loved one. Community programming encourages connection with others facing similar challenges, offers guidance for those navigating the grieving process, and provides memorial services to honor those who have passed.
