For 61-year-old Robert Horne, of Lawrence, Pilgrim Rehabilitation is a familiar place. Suffering from Type 2 Diabetes, Mr. Horne has had trouble over the years with serious infections. Inspirational Rehabilitative Stay at Hillcrest Commons
Two years ago, at work in her position as a Social Welfare Examiner for New York State, Susan Diggs suffered a brain aneurysm that would completely change her life. While physicians at Sunnyview Rehab Center worked wonders to save Susan and her physical abilities, the aneurysm had left her unable to breath on her own without the assistance of a trach and an oxygen tank.
